The 2009 Fremont Lake Sailing Regatta will be held on Fremont Lake on the 8th and 9th of August. All sailors and sailboats are welcome.
This Regatta is designed to be fun for all sailors. The race course is completely visible from shore so non-sailing friends and family can attend as well.
Some of the Forest Service rules have changed this year. Lakeside Lodge was required by the Forest Service to remove their campground, and the Forest Service has not given us permission to camp anywhere on Lakeside grounds. The Campground on the east side of the lake is available, but the Forest Service intends to close the campground and roads at the outlet (though they don't seem to have done that yet).
